Allie had a sleepover and we celebrated Daddy's birthday early. I don't have time for captions tonight, but the naturey pictures at the end are from a walk Daddy and I took down the dirt road.
A few (okay, more than a few) pictures, mostly from my birthday weekend in June. Aside from some computer problems, which unfortunately turned out to be only the beginning of that saga, it was a lovely weekend.
Andrea, Matthew, Michael, and Juliana got to stop by while they were in town! Michael showered Truman with toys; Juliana was interested in shoelaces.
Like a good little zombie (awww) Layla ripped off the top of her doll's head and ate its brains. Then we had a tea party.
These are hibiscus buds, which Layla thought were fun to pull off the plant; Daddy's signature landscaping. (It will look beautiful later!)
Layla with the ever-tolerant Cleo; playing in the front yard late in the day.
Layla took this picture of me! ...and this picture of bark. :) Layla greeting her daddy after work.
Garden images.
Mama made me a poppyseed cake; Daddy's sunflowers.
More sunflowers.
Playing in the rain!
Layla with Charlie at the pool.
Checking out the Father's Day card; my first cherry tomatoes of the season!
A rustic rest stop on my way from home to Little Rock.
Church marquee, name cropped to protect the innocent. Sigh. "God"? Are they quoting someone, or trying to be sarcastic? I wish I could educate the world on the proper use of quotation marks.
