I never meant for this blog to be all links and embedded videos! I've just been having a tremendously busy summer. (So... pretty much like every summer since I took this job.) I have lots of pictures uploaded and ideas for posts, but I never seem to get to that spot in my lists. I'm shooting for posting seasonally, I think. Stay tuned for Fall!

If you've ever had an indoor cat, you've had 90% of this happen, I'm sure. Though you may not have slept through it.

Marmoset, Marmoset

I am so delighted by this, and having been raised on "oldies" music, I just had to share.



One note of accuracy, I believe one of the pictures is of a baby ring-tailed lemur, not a marmoset, but that's not really the point. It's funny! (Edit - I should have watched carefully to the end, the captions confirm the lemur.)

I hope this weekend to have pictures of the nieces' birthdays and I'm sure some spring flowers will sneak in there as well. Happy Friday!

Cute skunks

I always enjoy Nature on PBS, but a few times during last week's episode, "Is That Skunk?" I thought I was going to have a seizure from an overdose of cute.

And since I have been a news source on orphaned hedgehog babies before... Baby hedghogs in bandages. It's like somebody put "sad" into a random cuteness generator and turned it up to 11.

Kittens

Last month I made it down to visit some friends in Dallas for the weekend, and there was a new kitten. It was a very photogenic kitten!

That kitten was such a poser. He loved the camera.
